Role Purpose

Deliver high-level administrative and technical support to senior leadership while developing professional competence in engineering practices and project execution. The role combines executive assistance with practical application of engineering principles across diverse, high-profile energy sector projects.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Competence and Execution

• Demonstrate graduate-level understanding of engineering principles, including design methodologies, technical calculations, and industry standards.
• Comprehend, interpret, and apply complex technical information relevant to your engineering discipline.
• Translate engineering theory into practical applications across project tasks and deliverables.
• Execute assigned tasks confidently within your engineering discipline, ensuring quality and compliance.
• Interpret technical data to suggest optimized design solutions that enhance functionality and cost-efficiency.

Standards, Processes and Compliance

• Apply standards, processes, and procedures with competence in day-to-day execution of engineering work.
• Possess sound understanding of regulatory frameworks and relevant legislation impacting engineering projects.
• Recognize and adhere to internal policies and procedures influencing project and task execution.

Knowledge and Professional Development

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technologies, and developments within your discipline.
• Demonstrate graduate-level knowledge of industry and technology development within your discipline area.

Communications and Documentation

• Prepare clear, accurate, and comprehensive written communications, reports, and documentation.
• Prepare accurate, effective, complete and easily understood written communications and reports.

Technical Tools and Systems

• Demonstrate solid general computer literacy with familiarity in specialist engineering software tools.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
• Internship or relevant project experience (preferred).
• Eagerness to learn and develop as a professional engineer.
