Excavator Operator

Role Overview

ABIS is seeking a skilled Excavator Operator to join our construction and oil & gas projects.

Role Purpose

Operate excavators to perform earthmoving tasks including digging, trenching, and material handling while adhering to safety and project specifications. The role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work efficiently in a team environment to support project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

Equipment Operation

• Operate excavators to perform excavation, trenching, and material handling tasks.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper condition of the excavator.

Maintenance & Inspection

• Conduct pre-operational inspections and routine maintenance of excavator equipment.
• Report any equipment issues or hazards promptly to maintenance or management.

Safety & Compliance

• Follow all safety policies and procedures to maintain a secure work environment.
• Maintain knowledge of excavation safety standards and equipment maintenance.

Coordination

• Coordinate with site supervisors and other personnel to ensure efficient workflow.

Qualifications & Experience

• Valid excavator operator certification or relevant license preferred.
• Saudi license preferred.
• Proven experience operating excavators in construction, oil & gas, or related industries.

Skills & Competencies

• Knowledge of excavation safety standards and equipment maintenance.
• Physical stamina and ability to work in challenging outdoor environments.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety procedures.
• Mechanical aptitude.
