Estimation Engineer

Role Overview

Estimation Engineer at Retal, Real Estate & Property division, Saudi Arabia.

Role Purpose

Provide accurate cost estimations and feasibility analyses for residential and commercial development projects. Work closely with project managers, architects, and procurement teams to ensure all projects remain on budget and schedule.

Key Responsibilities

Cost Estimation

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for new construction projects from preliminary design through final specifications
• Conduct site assessments and gather technical data to inform estimation accuracy
• Analyze material and labor costs while monitoring market price fluctuations
• Maintain and update estimation databases and historical cost records

Project Collaboration

• Collaborate with engineering and design teams to review project scope and identify cost optimization opportunities
• Review vendor quotations and subcontractor bids for compliance and competitiveness

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field
• Minimum 4 years of experience in cost estimation within construction or real estate development
• Strong knowledge of Saudi Arabian building codes, regulations, and local market conditions

Skills & Competencies

• Proficiency with estimation software and Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
