Role Purpose

You will help engineering partners maximize the value they receive from PLM, CAD, CAE, and related engineering systems. You will collaborate across stakeholders to design, develop, and implement improvements and optimizations to engineering systems while steering future investments and ensuring successful adoption across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements Definition & Stakeholder Collaboration

• Collaborate with engineering partners to understand their requirements and translate them into functional and technical solutions alongside other Engineer Systems team members
• Work with vendors and third-party service providers to implement upgrades and new modules

User Support & Training

• Provide training and support to users during and post-implementation to ensure adoption of new technology
• Provide support for the installation and post go-live of upgrades and new modules within PLM

Project Leadership & Development

• Lead the development and implementation of new features, including defining project scope, requirements, timelines, and budgets

Technical Operations & Issue Resolution

• Collaborate with developers to identify and address issues, bugs, and enhancement requests from both PLM and any integration to other systems such as CAD
• Collect infrastructure and configuration questions for PLM and any integration to other systems such as CAD

Qualifications & Experience

• 5+ years of experience installing, developing, implementing, upgrading, and maintaining Engineering Systems such as PLM, CAD, CAE, and SysML
• Understanding of CAD/CAM/CAE systems and their integration with PLM solutions
• Must be a UAE citizen and eligible to obtain a clearance

Skills & Competencies

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to root cause end-user and infrastructure-related issues
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Knowledge of both Windows and Linux systems, along with software installations
