Role Purpose

Support the engineering team in maintaining hotel facilities at the highest standard through effective supervision of daily maintenance operations, team leadership, and compliance with safety and operational procedures. The role ensures guest safety and comfort by keeping the hotel looking and feeling its very best.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Maintenance

• Supervise daily engineering operations, ensuring timely completion of maintenance requests and preventive maintenance activities.
• Coordinate repairs, troubleshooting, and maintenance activities while minimizing operational disruptions.
• Monitor the performance and condition of hotel facilities, equipment, and building systems.

Team Leadership

• Lead, train, and support the engineering team to deliver efficient and reliable services.
• Manage a multicultural team with effective communication and problem-solving approach.

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, fire safety standards, and hotel engineering procedures.

Documentation & Records

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment inspections, and service reports.

Cost Management & Sustainability

• Support energy conservation initiatives and cost-effective maintenance practices.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or technical qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services, or related engineering field.
• Previous experience as an Engineering Supervisor or similar role within a hotel or hospitality environment.
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and carpentry systems.
• Strong knowledge of hotel maintenance, preventive maintenance, and safety standards.
• Relevant technical certifications or licenses are an advantage.
