Engineering Manager

Role Overview

Engineering Manager at KBR. This position carries bottom line responsibility for the financial and technical success of large-sized domestic and international projects, typically under $200 million total installed cost.

Role Purpose

Plan, organize, coordinate, and control all phases of project execution in accordance with established company policies, procedures, systems, and requirements. Ensure client satisfaction through direct communication and contact while maintaining financial accountability and technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning and Execution

• Own financial and technical success of assigned projects.
• Plan, organize, coordinate, and control all project phases.
• Execute large-sized domestic and international projects.
• Maintain responsibility for projects with typical total installed cost below $200 million.

Client Management

• Maintain day-to-day contact and communication with the client.
• Focus on providing client satisfaction.
• Serve as proposal manager for large domestic and international project proposals as needed.

Team Leadership

• Supervise personnel assigned to the project through subordinate leaders.

Financial Management

• Hold budgetary accountabilities.

Qualifications & Experience

• Completion of an undergraduate degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 15 years of related experience.
• Average experience of 20 years.
• Knowledge of the respective industry.
