Role Overview

Engineer, Data & Agentic AI at First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB), based in Abu Dhabi.

Role Purpose

Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models and agentic AI systems while building and maintaining the data infrastructure to support AI/ML initiatives across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Development

• Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models and agentic AI systems
• Build and maintain data pipelines and infrastructure to support AI/ML initiatives
• Implement best practices for data governance and model monitoring

Collaboration & Implementation

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify use cases and implement AI solutions
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving engineering standards
• Document technical solutions and maintain knowledge sharing within the team

Performance & Optimization

• Optimize model performance and ensure scalability of AI systems
• Conduct data analysis and provide insights to drive business decisions

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in data engineering, machine learning, or AI development
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL
• Experience with machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar)
• Experience building and deploying data pipelines
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Understanding of agentic AI systems and LLM applications
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
