Role Purpose

Monitor, analyze, and control project costs to ensure budgets are maintained, variances are identified and corrected, and accurate financial reporting is delivered to management and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Budget and Cost Planning

• Prepare and maintain project budgets and cost reports.
• Support project planning, estimating, and budgeting activities.

Cost Monitoring and Analysis

• Monitor actual costs against budget and forecast future expenditures.
• Analyze cost variances and recommend corrective actions.
• Track project progress and assess its impact on project costs.

Procurement and Invoice Review

• Review contractor invoices, purchase orders, and change orders.

Coordination and Collaboration

• Coordinate with project managers, procurement, and finance teams.

Reporting and Compliance

• Prepare monthly cost control reports and management presentations.
• Ensure compliance with company cost control procedures and policies.
