Emcee / Host

Role Overview

Emcee / Host at The Production Team, based in the UAE. We are seeking confident, engaging, and professional Emcees and Hosts to lead a variety of live events, including corporate functions, exhibitions, conferences, product launches, award ceremonies, and public events across the UAE.

Role Purpose

To host and facilitate live events with excellent public speaking skills, engage diverse audiences professionally, and represent clients and brands throughout events while maintaining program flow and audience connection.

Key Responsibilities

Event Hosting & Facilitation

• Host and facilitate live events in accordance with the event program and run of show.
• Welcome guests and introduce speakers, performers, and special guests.
• Keep the event running on schedule by coordinating with the event production team.
• Attend briefings, rehearsals, and sound checks as required.

Communications & Messaging

• Deliver announcements, event updates, and key messages clearly and confidently.
• Adapt presentation style based on the audience and event requirements.
• Able to follow event scripts while adapting naturally when required.

Audience Engagement

• Engage the audience through interactive segments while maintaining a professional atmosphere.
• Represent the client's brand professionally throughout the event.
• Strong interpersonal and audience engagement skills.
• Experience with live audience engagement and improvisation.

Event Management & Adaptability

• Handle unexpected changes to the program with confidence and composure.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to perform under pressure.

Qualifications & Experience

• Proven experience as an Emcee, Host, Presenter, or Public Speaker is preferred.
• Experience hosting corporate events, conferences, exhibitions, or entertainment events.
• Background in broadcasting, media, hospitality, performing arts, or event management.

Skills & Competencies

• Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Confident, energetic, and comfortable speaking before large audiences.
• Familiarity with event production and stage protocols.

• Well-groomed with a professional appearance.
• Flexible to work weekdays, weekends, public holidays, and varying event schedules.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the UAE.
