Electro Mechanical Technician

Role Overview

Electro-Mechanical Technician at Jotun Saudia Co. Ltd., located in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This position reports to the Assistant Manager – Maintenance.

Role Purpose

Maintain and support industrial assets and equipment in accordance with technical standards, manufacturers' requirements and company procedures to ensure optimal equipment reliability and production line performance while adhering to local, regional, segment and Group HSEQ requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Maintenance Execution & Planning

• Execute maintenance tasks following standards and procedures while ensuring quality and effectiveness.
• Utilize and provide inputs for data updates in the Matrix Maintenance System with focus on Preventive Maintenance actions, Standard Jobs and spare part lists.
• Monitor and control spare part lists and inventory.

Root Cause Analysis & Troubleshooting

• Actively participate in root cause analysis of recurring and critical breakdowns and failures.
• Troubleshoot equipment faults individually and provide necessary support towards Preventive and Corrective Maintenance of production lines and industrial equipment.
• Demonstrate good understanding of Hydraulic, Pneumatic, Industrial Electrical and Mechanical systems and troubleshooting of Pumps, Gearboxes, blowers, fans, seals, Motors, VFDs, compressors, HVAC, bearings and related equipment.

Shift Support & Emergency Response

• Support multiple shifts and conduct emergency maintenance, electrical and mechanical repairs as required.
• Support the commissioning process for new assets based on HSEQ and engineering standards with work permit procedures.

Technical Systems & Documentation

• Provide support in different PLC programming languages, control networks and Industrial control systems.
• Read and understand basic mechanical, electrical and pneumatic diagrams and drawings.
• Update all necessary records of maintenance and estimation through CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).

Qualifications & Experience

• Vocational Technical course or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical or Electromechanical discipline.
• 4–6 years of experience in Electro-mechanical and Industrial facility maintenance.
• Fluency in Arabic and English, both verbally and written.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
