Electrician ( UAE Manual Driving License )

Role Purpose

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in various commercial and residential settings throughout Dubai while safely transporting materials, tools, and personnel to project sites.

Key Responsibilities

Electrical Installation and Maintenance

• Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems including wiring, lighting, distribution panels, and fixtures.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and inventory used for electrical tasks.

Technical Support and Diagnostics

• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues and provide effective solutions.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Demonstrate skill in troubleshooting electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.

Compliance and Safety

• Ensure all electrical work complies with relevant safety codes and regulations.
• Maintain strong knowledge of safety procedures and regulations in the electrical field.
• Follow National Electrical Code, UAE electrical regulations, and local building codes.

Documentation and Record-Keeping

• Record maintenance and repair activities as required.

Vehicle Operations and Logistics

• Safely operate company vehicles to transport materials, tools, and personnel to various sites.
• Ensure vehicle cleanliness and upkeep, and perform daily vehicle checks including oil, water, and tire pressure.
• Maintain accurate logbooks for mileage and fuel usage.
• Follow all traffic and safety regulations.
• Assist with loading and unloading electrical equipment and materials.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or ITI in Electrical required.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience as an Electrician in a similar capacity.
• Valid UAE Manual Driving License required.

Skills & Competencies

• Proficiency in installing, maintaining, and repairing various electrical systems.
• Strong ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and blueprints.
• Expert knowledge of National Electrical Code, UAE electrical regulations, and local building codes.
• Demonstrated skill in troubleshooting electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
• Familiarity with heating and air conditioning systems as they relate to electrical work.
