Role Purpose

Lead and coordinate day-to-day instrument maintenance activities across all instrument systems, plant equipment, and facilities within a designated area of responsibility. Serve as the focal point for daily instrument maintenance execution, ensuring compliance with safety and quality procedures and the availability and reliability of instrument systems.

Key Responsibilities

Supervision and Coordination

• Lead and supervise technicians assigned to the designated area of responsibility.
• Coordinate day-to-day activities of instrument maintenance developed by technicians across all instrument systems, plant, equipment, and facilities.
• Serve as the focal point for daily instrument maintenance execution plan.

Safety and Compliance

• Ensure technicians comply with and apply SATORP's Safety and Quality procedures during execution of instrument maintenance activities.
• Enforce policies, procedures, and regulations, ensuring all safety measures and precautions are strictly considered and taken during onsite maintenance works.
• Demonstrate proactive safety aptitude and behavior.
• Ensure personnel have the skills, training, and all needed resources, equipment, and tools to conduct routine maintenance activities in a safe and effective manner according to contract terms and conditions.

Site Execution and Monitoring

• Conduct frequent site visits to ensure proper execution of work and monitor technicians engaged in routine maintenance activities.
• Follow up on instrument maintenance work progress and submit regular progress reports to the Instrument foreman with recommendations.
• Keep records of daily maintenance works against planned maintenance programs and prepare work completion reports where applicable.

Work Management

• Receive work directions from the Instrument foreman in relation to instrument systems maintenance orders and requests.
• Translate work directions into actions.

Continuous Improvement

• Work closely with the Instrument foreman in recommending and implementing changes aimed at improving the availability and reliability of instrument and instrument systems within the designated area of responsibility.
• Assist in implementing engineering modifications and enhancements to instrument equipment by making recommendations to increase the suitability and serviceability of instrument systems.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 6 years' experience in Oil & Gas maintenance with High School qualification, or Minimum 4 years' experience in Oil & Gas maintenance with Diploma qualification.
• Hold a valid certification issued by a recognized third-party certification body or an accredited Saudi institute, attesting to qualifications and competency to perform the works.
• Strong technical understanding of maintenance management of Oil & Gas Facilities.
• Proven leadership skills with large organizations.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of maintaining and repairing instrument systems.
• Good knowledge of instrument equipment design, installation, and maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of maintaining and repairing mechanical and electro-hydraulic systems.
• Good knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance principles and working procedures.
• Strong knowledge of standards, procedures, and regulations to develop activities with care for Health, Safety, and Environmental preservation.
• Strong communication and people skills.
• Well organized and proactive with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to perform work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Capable of handling multiple tasks synergically.
• Good command of oral and written English.
• Maturity of judgment under pressure and ability to resolve problems.
• Strategic management skills.

Additional Information

• Flexibility to travel internationally and live in KSA required.
