Role Purpose
The E-Commerce Traineeship provides hands-on exposure to teams that bring digital platforms to life, allowing you to explore multiple career pathways within e-commerce while building practical skills in one of the fastest-growing functions at Chalhoub Group. You will gain valuable experience in digital commerce, technology, and customer experience while contributing to the future of luxury retail.
Key Responsibilities
E-Commerce Trading
- Optimize website performance, product launches, promotions, and online sales.
Digital Merchandising
- Curate online product assortments and ensure an engaging customer journey.
Content Management
- Manage product information, imagery, and digital content across e-commerce platforms.
Customer Experience
- Enhance the online customer journey through continuous improvements and insights.
CRM & Customer Engagement
- Support personalized campaigns, customer journeys, and loyalty initiatives.
E-Commerce Operations
- Coordinate the end-to-end online order journey, ensuring seamless execution.
Digital Analytics
- Monitor website performance, customer behavior, and business KPIs to support data-driven decisions.
Marketplace & Omnichannel
- Learn how digital and physical retail work together to deliver a unified customer experience.
Digital Projects & Innovation
- Support new platform enhancements, testing, and digital transformation initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Digital Business, Information Systems, E-Commerce, Communications, or a related field.
- Strong interest in digital commerce, technology, and customer experience.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Curious and adaptable mindset with eagerness to learn new digital tools and technologies.
- Proactive approach with confidence to contribute ideas and take ownership of projects.
