Duty Manager

Role Overview

Duty Manager at Palazzo Versace Dubai. The role oversees hotel operations during assigned shifts and serves as the Manager on Duty to ensure seamless guest experience and service excellence.

Role Purpose

To maintain operational excellence and guest satisfaction across all hotel departments during assigned shifts by coordinating interdepartmental activities, managing incidents, and ensuring compliance with service standards.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Standards

• Oversee daily hotel operations during assigned shifts and ensure all departments maintain high service standards.
• Monitor hotel presentation, cleanliness, service quality, and compliance with established standards.
• Conduct regular operational checks and address any issues promptly.
• Ensure proper shift handovers, communication, and completion of daily reports.

Guest Experience & Service

• Act as the Manager on Duty and ensure a seamless guest experience throughout the hotel.
• Handle guest requests, feedback, and complaints professionally and ensure timely resolution.
• Support VIP arrivals, special occasions, and other guest requirements.

Interdepartmental Coordination

• Coordinate with Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, Engineering, Security, and other departments to address operational requirements.

Team Leadership

• Lead, guide, and support colleagues during the shift to ensure efficient service delivery.

Incident Management

• Manage operational incidents and escalate significant matters to senior management when required.
