Role Purpose

To lead digital transformation and plant computing engineering efforts for the NEOM Green Hydrogen program, embedded in day-to-day construction and operational activities while collaborating with Air Products Engineering centers in the US and India. The role ensures control systems are properly built, deployed, secured, and maintained across the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Control Systems Development & Deployment

• Work with Process Automation Engineers to build and deploy control systems for the NEOM Green Hydrogen plant projects.
• Configure and install PCs and Servers for Process Control Applications.
• Develop Zone & Conduit Diagrams and Purdue Enterprise Reference Architecture models for Process Control Systems.

Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Protection

• Participate in Industrial Control System cybersecurity assessments and deployments.
• Develop, design, configure and deploy Plant Floor applications for malware, antivirus, disaster recovery, safelisting, asset management, remote access, intrusion detection and various other layers of protection for OT assets.
• Work with vendors and follow industry best practices for proper infrastructure support.

Operations & Troubleshooting

• Participate in troubleshooting issues identified during testing and any issues related to DT activities during commissioning and start up as related to Process Control PCs and Servers.
• Optimize work processes and implement automation to drive service efficiency and productivity.

Team & Knowledge Management

• Help train, orient, and bring up to speed new team members.
• Demonstrate technical leadership and project delivery from project site location based working.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or an Engineering discipline (Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical), or equivalent work experience.
• 15+ years DT experience or comparable experience with process control systems.
• Hands-on field experience in active construction and project sites before operational phase.
• Experience with Windows PC Operating Systems (Windows 7, Windows 10, Windows 11) and Windows Server Operating Systems (Windows 2016, 2019, 2022).
• Experience with Symantec Endpoint Protection, Acronis Backup, Netop Remote Control, and McAfee Application safelisting.
• Experience with networks (TCP/IP network protocols, DNS, DHCP), firewalls, and Active Directory.
• Familiarity with industrial control systems such as Siemens PCS7, Honeywell, and ABB.
• ISA99/IEC 62443 Cybersecurity Fundamentals Specialist Certificate (a plus).
• Fluency in IEC 62443 and NIST SP-800 (a plus).
