Role Overview

Driver at Hilton. The Driver is responsible for providing safe, reliable, and timely transportation services for hotel Team Members, guests, and authorized personnel as required.

Role Purpose

The role involves maintaining the assigned vehicle, ensuring compliance with UAE traffic regulations, and delivering professional and courteous service in line with hotel standards.

Key Responsibilities

Transportation & Passenger Service

• Safely transport hotel Team Members, guests, and authorized personnel as per approved schedules and requests.
• Ensure timely pick-up and drop-off of Team Members according to the assigned transportation schedule.
• Provide transportation for hotel-related errands, official requirements, and other authorized duties.
• Ensure the safety and comfort of all passengers during transportation.
• Maintain a professional, courteous, and service-oriented attitude at all times.
• Assist with loading and unloading luggage, supplies, or other hotel-related items when required.

Vehicle Maintenance & Inspection

• Ensure the assigned vehicle is clean, presentable, and maintained in good working condition.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any defects, damages, or maintenance requirements promptly.
• Monitor vehicle servicing, registration, insurance, and other relevant documentation to ensure validity.

Compliance & Safety

• Follow all UAE traffic laws, hotel transportation policies, and safety procedures.
• Report accidents, traffic violations, vehicle breakdowns, or other incidents immediately to the concerned supervisor.

Record Keeping

• Maintain accurate records of vehicle usage, mileage, fuel consumption, and transportation schedules.

Professional Conduct

• Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professional conduct while performing hotel duties.
• Perform any additional transportation-related duties assigned by the management.

Qualifications & Experience

• Valid UAE driving license appropriate for the assigned vehicle.
• Minimum 2 years of driving experience, preferably in the UAE.
• Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of UAE roads, traffic regulations, and local routes.

Skills & Competencies

• Basic English communication skills; additional languages are an advantage.
• Good time management, punctuality, and organizational skills.
• Professional appearance, positive attitude, and customer-service orientation.

Additional Information

• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays, as required.
