Role Purpose

To develop and implement strategic quality assurance and compliance frameworks across multiple projects and operational areas, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure adherence to international standards and regulatory requirements while leading the quality assurance function to maintain high standards of excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Planning

• Develop and implement comprehensive quality assurance and compliance strategies across multiple projects and operational areas, aligned with corporate strategies.
• Develop and own the annual assurance program.
• Establish and maintain a Compliance Framework across the Business Unit and within projects.

Leadership & Team Management

• Lead and mentor the quality assurance team to maintain high standards and foster a culture of quality excellence.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Audit & Compliance

• Establish quality metrics, audit processes, and performance indicators to monitor compliance and effectiveness.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify risks, non-conformities, and areas for improvement.
• Experience with audit processes and corrective action implementation.
• Act as point of contact for all Compliance issues.

Stakeholder Management & Collaboration

• Collaborate with project managers, department heads, and external partners to ensure quality objectives are integrated into all stages of project delivery.

Reporting & Performance

• Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management on quality performance, challenges, and recommendations.
• Prepare detailed compliance reports and briefings for senior management.

Continuous Improvement

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce defects, and optimize customer satisfaction.
• Stay updated with emerging trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes impacting quality assurance.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related discipline; Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 15 years' experience in quality assurance roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity.
• Proven expertise in developing and implementing quality management systems in large-scale projects or organizations.
• Strong knowledge of international quality standards such as ISO 9001 and relevant regulatory frameworks.
• Previous experience with internal and external compliance frameworks in large-scale projects or organizations.
