Role Purpose
Provide senior commercial leadership across a broad contract portfolio, helping to shape how major programs are governed, negotiated, and managed. Work across client, consultant, contractor, and government interfaces to support effective delivery, manage risk, and strengthen commercial outcomes at program scale.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial Strategy & Governance
- Lead commercial strategy and governance across program-wide contract portfolios.
Contract Administration & Negotiation
- Oversee contract negotiation, administration, and compliance for major infrastructure programs.
Risk & Dispute Management
- Manage commercial risk, claims, and dispute resolution across multiple stakeholders.
Cost & Value Optimization
- Drive cost control, change management, and value optimization initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in quantity surveying, commercial management, or a related discipline.
- 18 or more years of experience leading commercial functions on large infrastructure programs.
- Strong experience in contract administration, claims management, and dispute resolution.
- Deep expertise in cost control, change management, and commercial governance.
- Experience managing client leadership, consultants, contractors, and government stakeholders at director level.
Skills & Competencies
- Knowledge of FIDIC or NEC contract forms (preferred).
- Knowledge of government procurement frameworks (preferred).
- Experience with major EPC-style contract administration (preferred).
