Design Manager - Telecoms/AV/ELV

Role Overview

Design Manager - Telecoms/AV/ELV with WSP Middle East. The role supports the planning, coordination, and delivery of technology infrastructure across a portfolio of large-scale developments.

Role Purpose

Manage and coordinate the design and integration of telecommunications, audiovisual, ICT, security, and extra-low voltage systems across multidisciplinary teams on large-scale development projects.

Key Responsibilities

Design Management & Coordination

• Manage telecoms, AV, ICT, security, and ELV design consultants.
• Coordinate ICT and low-voltage systems across multidisciplinary teams.
• Review technology strategies, design submissions, and technical specifications.

Integration & Infrastructure

• Ensure integration of smart technologies, security systems, structured cabling, AV, and communications infrastructure.
• Support procurement and technology implementation strategies.

Compliance & Quality

• Review compliance with relevant standards, requirements, and authority regulations.
• Monitor consultant performance and project deliverables.

Stakeholder Management

• Support stakeholder engagement and technical workshops.

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, ICT, or related discipline.
• 15+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience on large-scale mixed-use, smart city, hospitality, or commercial developments.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong understanding of ICT, ELV, AV, and technology infrastructure systems.
