Design Manager - Interior Design

Role Overview

Design Manager - Interior Design at WSP in the Middle East.

Role Purpose

Support the delivery of high-quality interior environments across hospitality, residential, retail, and commercial developments through expert management of interior design consultants, design packages, and stakeholder coordination.

Key Responsibilities

Design Management & Coordination

• Manage interior design consultants and specialist design packages.
• Coordinate interior design interfaces with architectural, MEP, and specialist disciplines.
• Support design development through all project stages.

Design Review & Quality Assurance

• Review design concepts, material selections, FF&E packages, and detailed design submissions.
• Ensure design solutions align with project vision, brand standards, and operational requirements.
• Monitor design quality, programme, and consultant performance.
• Assist with mock-up reviews and design approvals where required.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Participate in design reviews, presentations, and stakeholder workshops.

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree in Interior Design or Architecture.
• 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience delivering hospitality, retail, commercial, or residential interiors.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong design review and stakeholder management skills.
