Role Overview

Default Position with Airbus Defense and Space, specifically within Airbus Helicopters Arabia for Aircraft Maintenance. This is a fixed-term professional role in the Ethics & Compliance job family.

Role Purpose

Manage export control compliance across national and international regulations, safeguard the organization's integrity and regulatory standing, and ensure timely, lawful delivery of products and services through continuous monitoring, training, and process governance.

Key Responsibilities

Regulatory Monitoring & Intelligence

• Continuously track evolution of export control national and international laws and regulations, including ITAR and EAR.
• Liaise with relevant government authorities on regulatory matters.
• Ensure permanent intelligence on end-use countries and customers.

Training & Advisory Support

• Provide permanent advice and support to business functions concerned with export control.
• Deliver training to business functions on export control requirements and best practices.
• Provide tools to support export control compliance.

Process & Documentation Management

• Define, update and enforce end-to-end export control process.
• Prepare export control documentation to obtain timely clearance for export.
• Monitor and update list of products, documentation, equipment, components and parts subject to export restriction.
• Apply for export licenses, manage release of deliveries including physical checks, administer licenses including record keeping, and manage sanctions compliance.

Performance & Continuous Improvement

• Continuously improve the performance of the export control function, including training and surveys.
• Support and coordinate actions of the supply chain on export control matters.
• Support the implementation of Airbus Directives and Methods.

Governance & Representation

• Act as a representative for Ethics & Compliance, supporting the organization in achieving its integrity and regulatory objectives.
• Serve as a focal point for the AHA business management system and provide comprehensive governance support.
