Cybersecurity Incident Response Specialist

Role Overview

Cybersecurity Incident Response Specialist at Partner One Capital in Saudi Arabia, joining the NetWitness Incident Response team to investigate security incidents, perform digital forensics, analyze malware, and help organizations recover from security compromises.

Role Purpose

To investigate security incidents with precision and analytical rigor, conduct digital forensic analysis and malware triage, and work alongside global incident response experts to turn complex security chaos into clarity and actionable findings.

Key Responsibilities

Incident Investigation & Forensics

• Conduct cyber incident investigations and digital forensic analysis.
• Perform malware triage, memory forensics, and compromise assessments.
• Document findings with clarity and precision for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Response & Collaboration

• Work with global NetWitness IR experts to respond to complex attacks.
• Share knowledge and challenge hypotheses within the incident response team.
• Participate in improving detection capabilities based on investigation outcomes.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on cybersecurity experience.
• Minimum 2 years of direct involvement in incident response, digital forensics, or malware analysis.
• Alternatively, visible public research or open-source projects in DFIR or malware analysis.
• Strong technical foundation in Windows, Linux, and network investigations.

Skills & Competencies

• Proficiency with NetWitness, Volatility, Velociraptor, or custom scripts.
• Scripting capability in Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Fluency in English; Arabic proficiency is advantageous.
• SANS certifications (GCFA, GREM, GNFA, GCFE, or equivalent) are preferred.
• Calm demeanor during high-stress security incidents.
