Crane Operator

Role Overview

Crane Operator at ABIS. This position is based on a construction or industrial site where crane operations are required.

Role Purpose

Operate cranes safely and efficiently to lift, move, and position materials and equipment on construction and industrial sites while maintaining strict adherence to safety protocols and coordinating effectively with site personnel.

Key Responsibilities

Operations

• Operate cranes to lift, move, and place materials according to project requirements.
• Perform pre-operational checks and routine maintenance of crane equipment.

Safety & Compliance

• Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to prevent incidents and ensure site safety.
• Report equipment malfunctions or hazards to the maintenance team promptly.
• Maintain attention to detail and commit to adhering to safety protocols.

Coordination & Communication

• Coordinate with riggers, signal persons, and site supervisors during lifting operations.
• Maintain accurate logs of crane operation activities and maintenance records.

Qualifications & Experience

• Valid crane operator certification or license; SAUDI License preferred.
• Proven experience as a crane operator in construction, oil & gas, or industrial environments.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of crane operation safety standards and maintenance procedures.
• Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail.
