Contracting Representative

Role Overview

Contracting Representative at PetroRabigh.

Role Purpose

Serve as the contract proponent representative in bid analysis, contract negotiation, and procurement administration for oil and gas projects. Ensure fair, ethical contracting practices and compliance with company standards throughout the contracting lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Bid Analysis & Negotiation

• Participate as the contract proponent representative in professional analysis of bid responses and negotiation of offers.
• Prepare counter offers during the negotiation process.

Contractor Sourcing & Prequalification

• Source potential contractors for assigned projects.
• Conduct services valuations and contractor prequalification.
• Negotiate with contractors as part of a negotiating team comprised of contracting and contract proponent representatives.

Documentation & Compliance

• Prepare company estimate documentation.
• Review documents to ensure no technical glitches are present.
• Provide assistance in the procurement and administration of contracts.

Standards & Ethics

• Maintain high-level business standards and ethics to ensure contracting fairness.

Additional Duties

• Perform any other duties and responsibilities as designated by the Section Head.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Engineering.
• 3 years of in-depth experience in contracting for the Oil and Gas Industry or Petrochemical Industry.
• Experience with contract management practices in the Petro-Chemical sector.

Skills & Competencies

• Understanding of processing contracts in SAP.
• Knowledgeable in in-service procurement and contracting practices.
• Demonstrable technical and negotiation skills.
