Continuous Airworthiness engineer

Role Overview

Continuous Airworthiness Engineer at Airbus Helicopters Arabia for Aircraft Maintenance, based on a fixed-term employment contract.

Role Purpose

Assure the proper implementation of technical airworthiness requirements and provide technical support to maintenance and material departments. Plan, schedule and coordinate helicopter maintenance activities while maintaining comprehensive documentation of all maintenance operations.

Key Responsibilities

Compliance & Governance

• Comply with all Aviation, Safety, Quality and Export Control Regulations.
• Comply with all Airbus Helicopters Management Systems, Policies and Regulations.
• Maintain awareness of potential compliance risks and demonstrate commitment to act with integrity.

Planning & Coordination

• Plan and update short and long-term maintenance activities.
• Plan all scheduled maintenance, coordinate, and follow up on other maintenance activities for timely compliance.
• Schedule and coordinate activities for the maintenance of helicopters.

Work Order Management

• Issue and track routine cards and work orders.
• Issue and track unscheduled maintenance work orders.
• Issue and track configuration change work orders.
• Issue and track defect and discrepancy work orders.

Documentation & Records

• Update Flight Data.
• Maintain aircraft history and archiving.
• Establish and maintain hard and automated aircraft records.
• Update Airframe and Engines logbook.
• Maintain proper documentation of all maintenance activities.

Additional Duties

• Perform other duties as assigned.
