Role Overview

Commis III at Hilton. This kitchen role exists to prepare high-quality dishes and deliver memorable dining experiences that reflect the warmth and light of hospitality.

Role Purpose

Prepare menu items to designated recipes and quality standards, manage guest orders efficiently, execute complex recipes, and maintain rigorous food safety and presentation standards while upholding Hilton's core values of hospitality, integrity, leadership, teamwork, ownership, and focus on the now.

Key Responsibilities

Food Preparation & Execution

• Prepare menu items according to designated recipes and quality standards.
• Execute complex recipes and maintain strong knowledge of menu offerings.
• Manage assigned stations, overseeing execution, quality control, and inventory checks.

Quality Assurance

• Inspect all preparations and dishes ahead of serving to ensure they meet quality and presentation standards.
• Finalize plated dishes to meet service requirements.

Guest Service & Operations

• Manage guest orders efficiently while ensuring a positive dining experience.

Workspace & Inventory Management

• Keep food service stations stocked and sanitary.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Prepare requisitions for supplies and food items as needed.

Compliance & Safety

• Follow proper food handling, storage, and safety protocols.
• Maintain compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations.
• Ensure the highest standards of guest and team member well-being.
