Role Overview
Commis II at Hilton. This position is part of the Hotels team and focuses on food preparation and kitchen operations to deliver exceptional dining experiences for guests.
Role Purpose
Prepare high-quality dishes according to designated recipes and standards while maintaining kitchen cleanliness, inventory management, and compliance with health and safety regulations. The role exists to support positive guest dining experiences and contribute to the warmth and light of hospitality that defines Hilton.
Key Responsibilities
Food Preparation & Execution
- Prepare menu items according to designated recipes and quality standards.
- Execute complex recipes with strong knowledge of menu offerings.
- Manage assigned kitchen stations including execution, quality control, and inventory checks.
Quality Assurance
- Inspect all preparations and dishes ahead of serving to ensure they meet quality and presentation standards.
- Finalize plates for service.
Guest & Order Management
- Manage guest orders efficiently while ensuring a positive dining experience.
Kitchen Operations & Maintenance
- Keep food service stations stocked and sanitary.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Follow proper food handling, storage, and safety protocols.
- Prepare requisitions for supplies and food items as needed.
Compliance & Safety
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations.
- Ensure the highest standards of guest and team member well-being.
