Role Purpose
Support the kitchen operations by assisting in food preparation and service, maintaining hygiene standards, and ensuring all culinary offerings meet Anantara's quality guidelines while contributing to a safe and well-organized working environment.
Key Responsibilities
Preparation & Service
- Assist in the preparation and service of food.
- Prepare mise-en-place for the outlets as required.
Quality & Standards
- Adhere to Anantara food preparation and presentation guidelines to ensure consistent quality culinary offerings to guests.
- Continually look to recommend improvements and additions to the Anantara presentation guidelines.
Hygiene & Safety
- Keep all working areas clean and tidy to maintain hygienic surroundings.
- Maintain food safety and protection by ensuring all food in working areas complies with food handling techniques, including dating, proper storage, and rotation.
- Maintain basic food safety and sanitation practices.
- Adhere to all personal hygiene and grooming standards, fire safety rules, and health and safety rules.
Facilities & Maintenance
- Take responsibility for looking after all hotel property and facilities.
- Maintain and oversee adherence to departmental checklists and cleaning schedules.
Development
- Participate in departmental training to improve departmental skills and hotel service levels.
