Role Purpose

To support the kitchen team in the preparation and service of food, maintaining the highest standards of food safety, hygiene, and presentation in alignment with Anantara guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

Food Preparation & Service

• Assist in the preparation and service of food for all outlets.
• Prepare mise-en-place for outlets as required.
• Adhere to Anantara food preparation and presentation guidelines to ensure consistent quality culinary offerings to guests.
• Continually recommend improvements and additions to Anantara presentation guidelines.

Food Safety & Hygiene

• Maintain food safety and protection standards in all working areas.
• Ensure all food in working areas complies with food handling techniques, including dating, proper storage, and rotation.
• Maintain basic food safety and sanitation practices.
• Keep all working areas clean and tidy to maintain hygienic surroundings.

Operations & Compliance

• Take responsibility for looking after all hotel property and facilities.
• Maintain and oversee adherence to departmental checklists and cleaning schedules.
• Adhere to all personal hygiene and grooming standards.
• Adhere to fire safety rules and health and safety rules.

Training & Events

• Participate in departmental training to improve departmental skills and hotel service levels.
• Assist at events, banquets, and other functions as required.
