InterContinental Hotels Group® operates four properties in Dubai Festival City: InterContinental (luxury brand), InterContinental Residence Suites (lavish long-stay), Crowne Plaza (superior upscale), and Holiday Inn & Suites (vibrant mid-scale). The properties feature over 1,600 rooms, 16 restaurants and bars, a 3,800-square-metre Event Centre across two levels, the 5,000-square-metre Festival Arena by InterContinental, Spa InterContinental, and state-of-the-art gymnasium and swimming pool facilities. Role Purpose

Support the Belgian Cafe kitchen operations by preparing mise-en-place, maintaining hygiene standards, and assisting the kitchen team to deliver high-quality food service for hotel guests and internal customers.

Key Responsibilities

Preparation & Setup

• Prepare all mise-en-place for day-to-day operations.
• Prepare in advance food, beverage, material and equipment needed for service.
• Support team with mise-en-place and storage pick-ups.

Hygiene & Maintenance

• Maintain a healthy and hygienic work area.
• Clean and reset working area.
• Implement hotel and department regulations, policies and procedures related to health and safety, grooming, quality, and hygiene and cleanliness.

Communication & Collaboration

• Communicate politely and display courtesy to guests and internal customers.
• Communicate to superior any difficulties, guest or internal customer comments, and other relevant information.
• Establish and maintain effective employee working relationships.

Compliance & Development

• Attend and participate in daily briefings and other meetings as scheduled.
• Attend and participate in training sessions as scheduled.
• Implement house rules and regulations.
• Perform related duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience

• Similar experience working in a luxury restaurant or 5-star hotel environment.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong communication skills.
• Commitment to serving food of the highest quality.
