Role Purpose
Oversee all contractual and commercial aspects of large-scale masterplan development projects. Manage contracts, ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards, handle claims and variations, and support project teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
Contract Management
- Manage and administer contracts.
- Review, negotiate, and finalize contract terms with clients, consultants, and contractors.
- Maintain accurate records of contracts, payments, and correspondence.
Compliance & Risk
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
- Ability to interpret legal documents and contractual obligations.
Financial Management
- Monitor project budgets, costs, and financial performance.
- Ensure timely invoicing, payment collection, and financial reporting.
Claims & Variations
- Prepare and review claims, variations, and change orders.
Stakeholder Support & Reporting
- Provide commercial advice and support to project teams.
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and stakeholders to resolve disputes.
- Prepare reports on commercial performance and contractual issues for senior management.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree or master's degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, Law, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in contract management and commercial roles within masterplan development projects.
- Strong knowledge of FIDIC, NEC, or other standard forms of construction contracts.

- Proficiency in contract administration, claims management, and dispute resolution.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Strong financial acumen and cost-control expertise.
- Effective leadership and team management skills.
- High attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office and project management software.
