Role Purpose
Deliver comprehensive support to Fund Services teams across different roles to ensure operational efficiency and meet dynamic business demands while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements and fund terms and conditions.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Fund Services
- Deliver comprehensive support to Fund Services teams by contributing across different roles, ensuring operational efficiency and meeting dynamic business demands.
- Review work performed by offshore teams and ensure its accuracy.
- Monitor cash flows to ensure sufficient liquidity for operations, investments and distribution.
- Work closely with closed-ended asset managers, property managers and real estate developers to gather data and support fund operations.
NAV & Reporting
- Ensure timely submission of NAV to clients in line with signed SLAs.
- Maintain financial statements, ensuring they comply with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
Compliance & Risk
- Ensure all work undertaken complies with the respective fund's terms and conditions, relevant regulatory requirements and anti-money laundering regulations.
- Maintain compliance with the firm's policies and procedures.
- Communicate any issues of concern to line managers.
Stakeholder Management
- Promote excellent relationships with the clients of the company.
- Deputy for line manager if required during their absence.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong educational background, preferably in accounting or finance.
- Strong PC skills including Word, Excel and macros in Excel.
- Proactive and willing to drive things forward.
- Ability to work to and meet agreed deadlines.
- Flexible in work approach due to the nature of the role to meet client deliverables.
- Excellent interpersonal and written communications skills.
- Ability to multi-task and work in a pressurised environment.
- Capacity to problem-solve and ability to deal with complex issues.
