Role Purpose

Assist the Cluster Laundry Manager in overseeing laundry operations across multiple properties to ensure the delivery of high-quality linens and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Laundry Operations

• Oversee daily laundry operations including washing, drying, pressing, and folding of linens.
• Monitor laundry quality standards and ensure compliance with established procedures.
• Track and manage inventory of guest linens and operational supplies.
• Coordinate with hotel housekeeping departments to ensure timely delivery of clean linens.

Staff Management

• Support staff scheduling and ensure adequate coverage for all shifts.
• Provide training and guidance to laundry team members.
• Monitor employee performance and address performance issues as needed.
• Promote a safe and productive work environment.

Financial Management

• Control laundry costs and work toward budget targets.
• Monitor equipment maintenance costs and coordinate repairs.
• Track and report on departmental expenses.

Reporting & Communication

• Report to the Cluster Laundry Manager on operational metrics and challenges.
• Communicate with property management on laundry needs and service levels.
• Maintain records of laundry operations and team performance.

Qualifications & Experience

• Hospitality industry experience, preferably in a laundry or housekeeping department.
• Experience in a supervisory or management capacity.
• Knowledge of laundry operations and standards.
