Company Overview

Intellect Care provides counselling and psychotherapy as a collaborative process to guide, explore and resolve personal, social, or psychological problems and difficulties. Counselling supports clients seeking tools and techniques for mental health, while psychotherapy identifies unhelpful patterns of thinking and behaviours, equipping clients with more effective ways of thinking, behaving and relating to others. Sessions normally span up to 50 minutes.

Role Purpose

Deliver onsite mental health counselling and psychotherapy services to employees of Intellect's local clients in Saudi Arabia, facilitate individual and group sessions across various mental health topics, and collaborate with the internal clinical team to continuously improve program delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Client Delivery

• Provide onsite, in-person mental health counselling for employees of Intellect's local clients in Saudi Arabia.
• Report to the client's office for morning, evening, or overnight shifts as dependent on the client's request.
• Facilitate one-on-one sessions on various mental health topics including resilience, stress management, and available wellbeing resources.

Group Sessions & Workshops

• Lead group sessions on coping strategies for managing stress and challenging information.
• Moderate peer support sessions to encourage shared experiences and wellbeing discussions.
• Develop and deliver group sessions and workshops to promote mental health awareness and resilience.

Reporting & Collaboration

• Share monthly reports on utilisation and participation.
• Collaboratively work with Intellect's internal clinical team by suggesting improvements to the program and platform.
• Conduct once-monthly one-hour check-ins with the internal Intellect team during regular working hours (10 AM–6 PM Singapore Time).

Schedule Management

• Work shifts that may be rotated depending on provided availability.
• Receive notification of shift changes at least 30 days in advance.

Qualifications & Experience

• Master's degree in Clinical Psychology, Counselling Psychology, or Counselling.
• Minimum 3 years clinical experience, excluding experience completed during Master's Degree.
• Minimum 500 supervised clinical hours, excluding hours completed during Master's Degree.
• Experience with Trauma-Informed Therapeutic Approaches, including Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (TF-CBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) for trauma survivors, or Somatic Experiencing (SE).
• Valid clinical license or eligibility for licensure in practicing country.

Skills & Competencies

• Proficiency in individual and group psychotherapy delivery.
• Expertise in trauma-informed therapeutic approaches.
• Ability to develop and facilitate mental health workshops and awareness programs.
• Collaboration and clinical consultation skills.

Additional Information

• Work Arrangement: Must be available for in-person sessions 5 days a week. Must be open to evening sessions (9 PM–6 AM) with time slot approval by clients. Contract role lasting 2 years.
• Supervision Requirement: Open to supervision once every 2 months.
• Annual Leave: 20 days.
• Sick Leave: 14 days, unless local statutory regulations provide more.
• Birthday Leave: 1 day.
• Emergency Leave: 5 days.
• Maternity and Paternity Leave: Follow local regulations.
