Role Overview
Clerk - Marina Operations at Wynn Al Marjan Island, located in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE. This is an administrative and clerical support role reporting to the Director - Marina Operations.
Company Overview
Wynn Al Marjan Island will be the first integrated resort in the UAE, set to open in 2027. Located 50 miles from Dubai International Airport in Ras Al Khaimah, the resort will offer 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants, lounges, and bars, a theater, and a beach club. Facilities include multiple swimming and wading pools, a five-star spa, a salon, a shopping promenade, and a celebrations and events center.
Role Purpose
The Clerk - Marina Operations provides essential administrative support to ensure accurate record-keeping, efficient scheduling, and professional guest service across marina operations. The role maintains the operational backbone of the marina through documentation management, information coordination, and responsive guest support while upholding Wynn service standards.
Key Responsibilities
Records & Documentation Management
- Maintain and organize marina records, including berth reservations, guest logs, permits, contracts, and service requests.
- Accurately enter, update, and maintain information within approved company and marina systems.
- Prepare reports, correspondence, forms, and operational documentation as required.
- Handle confidential guest, company, and operational information with discretion and professionalism.
Guest & Stakeholder Engagement
- Assist guests, visitors, vessel owners, and crews by responding to inquiries via telephone, email, and in person.
- Provide accurate information regarding marina facilities, services, operating procedures, rates, and policies.
- Deliver service consistent with Wynn standards while supporting marina operations and guest satisfaction.
Scheduling & Coordination
- Support the scheduling of vessel arrivals and departures, maintenance activities, and marina services.
- Coordinate administrative requests, appointments, and deliveries with vendors, contractors, and service providers.
- Assist with maintaining departmental calendars, records, and internal meeting schedules.
Billing & Financial Administration
- Support billing administration through the preparation of invoices, receipts, and transaction documentation.
- Assist with cashiering functions and payment processing when required.
- Reconcile daily transactions and report discrepancies promptly to the appropriate supervisor.
Office Management & Compliance
- Maintain a professional, organized, and efficient marina office environment.
- Assist with shift handovers, operational updates, and administrative reporting.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, marina procedures, safety requirements, and security protocols.
Qualifications & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Diploma or vocational qualification in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Tourism, or a related field is an advantage.
- Two to three years of experience in an administrative, clerical, or office support role, preferably within hospitality, marina operations, tourism, or a related service environment.
Skills & Competencies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with reservation, property management, administrative, or marina management systems is advantageous.
- Strong organizational, time-management, and record-keeping skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages are an advantage.
- Strong customer service skills with a professional, courteous, and service-oriented approach.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable interacting with guests, vessel owners, crews, contractors, and operational teams.
