Civil Engineer

Role Overview

Civil Site Engineer at Al Shirawi Group. The role supervises civil and infrastructure works on site, coordinates subcontractors and site teams, and ensures delivery in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project schedules.

Role Purpose

Supervise daily civil and infrastructure site activities, coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, monitor progress and resources, and ensure compliance with quality and HSE requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Site Supervision & Coordination

• Supervise daily civil and infrastructure works on site in accordance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, surveyors, suppliers, and other site teams.
• Coordinate site works independently and manage multiple teams and vendors simultaneously.

Progress & Resource Monitoring

• Monitor progress, manpower, materials, and equipment.
• Report delays and site constraints to stakeholders.
• Prepare site reports, inspection requests, and quantity records.

Quality & Compliance

• Ensure site activities comply with quality and HSE requirements.
• Coordinate inspections with the consultant.
• Follow up on comments and corrective actions from inspections.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• 2–5 years of relevant site experience.
• UAE experience is preferred.
• Ability to read construction drawings and coordinate site works independently.
