Role Overview

Chief Steward at Hilton. This role provides strategic oversight of all stewarding operations across the property, delivering memorable experiences that support exceptional guest stays.

Role Purpose

Oversee all stewarding operations to ensure inventory accuracy, equipment functionality, sanitation compliance, and cost efficiency while building and leading a high-performing team that upholds the highest standards of hospitality, health, safety, and guest wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory & Operations

• Lead daily coordination, distribution, storage, and maintenance of essential items including china, glassware, linen, and silver
• Ensure accuracy and availability of all stewarding inventory for all operations

Equipment & Facilities

• Oversee the security, maintenance, and optimal functionality of all food service equipment

Sanitation & Compliance

• Develop, implement, and oversee compliance with sanitation procedures
• Ensure all food and beverage areas meet the highest hygiene and safety regulations
• Maintain compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations

Financial Management

• Monitor expenses and implement cost-saving strategies
• Support operational efficiency and profitability while maintaining quality standards

Team Leadership

• Recruit, train, supervise, coach, and mentor team members
• Conduct performance evaluations
• Provide professional development opportunities
• Recognize achievements to build, retain, and engage a high-performing team

Qualifications & Experience

• High School Diploma or University Degree
• Experience in hotel management or related stewarding operations
• License or Certification as required for the role
• Language proficiency as needed
