Role Overview

Role Purpose

Lead financial strategy execution, manage core accounting functions, oversee financial reporting and compliance, and develop a high-performing accounting team to ensure the hotel's financial health and strategic alignment.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Strategy and Performance

• Assist in directing financial operations to ensure alignment with the hotel's strategic goals, optimizing profitability and efficiency.
• Assist in reviewing financial performance, reconciling accounts, and preparing recommendations for hotel leadership and ownership.
• Provide financial insights to support decision-making.

Financial Operations Management

• Oversee Accounts Receivable, Credit, and Night Audit functions.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls and financial policies across all operations.

Financial Reporting and Compliance

• Lead the preparation and review of monthly financial statements.
• Ensure accuracy in cash receipt coding.
• Support internal audits for transparency and compliance.
• Review and authorize ledger reconciliations, tax filings, and payroll.
• Ensure financial accuracy and compliance in all transactions.

Team Leadership and Development

• Supervise, coach, and mentor team members.
• Conduct performance evaluations.
• Provide professional development opportunities.
• Recognize achievements to build, retain, and engage a high-performing team.
