Role Overview

Chef de Partie at TGP International. The role manages a specific kitchen station in a Hawaiian-Asian street food kitchen, ensuring consistent, high-quality output and leading the section with confidence.

Role Purpose

To take full ownership of an assigned kitchen station, prepare and cook menu items to standard, supervise junior kitchen staff, and maintain food safety and operational excellence during service.

Key Responsibilities

Station Management

• Take full ownership of your assigned kitchen station during service
• Ensure mise en place is complete and the station is ready before each service
• Prepare and cook menu items to recipe standards and quality specifications

Team Leadership

• Supervise and guide Commis chefs and kitchen helpers at your station
• Lead your section with confidence and motivation

Operational Standards

• Monitor portion control, waste management, and stock levels at your section
• Maintain strict compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards

Qualifications & Experience

• 2–4 years of experience in a professional kitchen, with at least 1 year at Chef de Partie level
• Experience in Asian or Hawaiian cuisine is an advantage

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of cooking techniques relevant to the station assigned
• Proven ability to lead and motivate junior kitchen staff
• Solid understanding of food safety, sanitation, and hygiene regulations
• Good communication skills in English
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
