Chef de Partie at Hilton Hotels. This role involves overseeing the preparation of high-quality dishes and spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences for every guest.
Role Purpose
Prepare and supervise the consistent execution of high-quality dishes while leading kitchen team members, maintaining food safety and sanitation standards, and contributing to departmental financial performance.
Key Responsibilities
Food Preparation
- Season, cook, and test dishes according to standard recipes, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation.
Team Supervision
- Oversee line cooks to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Provide support as needed in the absence of senior chefs.
Kitchen Standards
- Keep all work areas clean, tidy, and free of cross-contamination.
- Monitor ingredient quality, ensuring proper storage and stock rotation.
Compliance & Safety
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations.
- Ensure the highest standards of guest and team member wellbeing.
Financial Management
- Contribute to controlling food costs and improving gross profit margins.
- Help meet departmental financial targets.
