Role Purpose

The Chef de Partie – Pastry oversees all culinary dishes prepared in the pastry section, ensuring that all hotel visitors are delighted by the quality, creativity, and variety of food and beverage offerings and that F&B is regarded as a strong point of differentiation for the hotel in its local market.

Key Responsibilities

Kitchen Operations

  • Oversee all culinary dishes prepared in the pastry section.
  • Give orders within the pastry section.
  • Reliably carry out orders handed down by the Sous Chef and Head Chef.
  • Work effectively in a high-pressure environment.

Quality & Standards

  • Ensure all visitors to the hotel are delighted by the quality, creativity, and variety of food and beverage offerings in the pastry area.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Very knowledgeable about pastry specialty and culinary functions in general.

Skills & Competencies

  • Organization and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in high-pressure environments.
  • Leadership and communication within the section.
  • Culinary expertise and creativity.
