Charter Manager - Sunreef Yachts Charter

Role Overview

Charter Manager at Sunreef Yachts, a globally recognised luxury yacht brand. This position oversees and expands charter activity across the Sunreef luxury yacht fleet worldwide.

Role Purpose

To maximise charter revenue, strengthen global broker relationships, and ensure seamless coordination between yacht owners, captains, crew, and central agents while managing and strategically promoting a fleet of Sunreef luxury yachts for charter globally.

Key Responsibilities

Fleet & Charter Management

• Manage and strategically promote a fleet of Sunreef luxury yachts for charter worldwide.
• Manage and optimise yacht listings across Yachtfolio and other relevant charter platforms.
• Monitor charter performance and deliver structured reporting to owners and internal management.
• Coordinate closely with captains and crew to ensure yacht readiness, operational excellence, and premium guest experience standards.

Commercial & Strategy

• Develop, maintain, and expand strong relationships with international charter brokers and industry partners.
• Prepare tailored charter offers, itineraries, and client presentations aligned with luxury expectations.
• Advise yacht owners on charter strategy, pricing, positioning, utilisation, and market trends.
• Represent Sunreef Yachts Charter at major yacht shows and industry events globally.

Contracts & Compliance

• Prepare, review, and negotiate charter agreements (MYBA contracts and related addenda).
• Ensure full compliance with regulatory, classification, and flag state requirements applicable to charter operations.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in yacht charter management or yacht brokerage.
• Strong working knowledge of MYBA contracts and charter procedures.
• In-depth knowledge of key charter destinations including Mediterranean, Caribbean, Indian Ocean, and Middle East.

Skills & Competencies

• Proficiency in Yachtfolio.
• Experience using CRM systems and performance tracking tools.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple yachts and clients simultaneously.
• Commercial mindset with a results-oriented approach.
• Ability to work independently within a dynamic international team environment.
