Cashier

Role Overview

Cashier position based at Chanel Fashion Boutique, The Galleria Mall, Abu Dhabi. Reports to the Operation Manager.

Role Purpose

Receive payments in compliance with company procedures while guaranteeing secure transactions and delivering a high level of client service throughout the cashiering process.

Key Responsibilities

Client Service & Experience

• Ensure high level of client service by creating a unique experience for each client throughout the entire cashiering process.
• Deliver an excellent experience for every CHANEL client in collaboration with Fashion Advisors.

Cashiering Operations

• Operationally manage all tasks linked to cashiering on the internal systems designed for transactions.
• Handle payments, refunds, exchanges, and point-of-sale operations accurately through internal systems.
• Perform opening and closing cash procedures.
• Deactivate RFID tags on sales.
• Provide end-of-day reports to duty manager.

Client Account Management

• Manage the client information file by entering information according to procedures for creation and editing of client accounts.
• Ensure that client accounts are managed properly, in particular by reconciling accounts and transactions.

Compliance & Reporting

• Strictly adhere to Anti-Money Laundering procedures.
• Conduct sanctions screening vigilantly.
• Submit reports to the Legal team.
• Uphold CHANEL procedures and compliance requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

• Experience as a Cashier in the Retail sector, preferably within a luxury environment.

Skills & Competencies

• Excellent organizational skills.
• Computer proficiency.
• Attention to detail.
