Role Overview
CAFM Engineer with Egis Group, a global infrastructure and engineering firm operating in 100 countries. This role is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and joins the Project Management Office (PMO) focused on urban planning initiatives.

Role Purpose
This role combines technical expertise in Computer-Aided Facility Management systems with strategic urban planning project coordination to support Egis' infrastructure development goals. The CAFM Engineer will design, implement, and maintain CAFM systems while coordinating seamlessly with PMO teams to integrate facility management data into urban planning projects across Riyadh.
Key Responsibilities
Systems Design & Implementation
- Design, implement, and maintain CAFM systems to support urban planning and facility management operations
- Conduct system testing and quality assurance for CAFM applications and data integrity
- Evaluate and recommend improvements to existing facility management processes and systems
Data & Reporting
- Analyze spatial data and generate comprehensive reports for urban development initiatives
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for CAFM processes and urban planning workflows
- Provide technical support and training to team members on CAFM tools and methodologies
Project Coordination & Compliance
- Coordinate with PMO teams to ensure seamless integration of facility management data into urban planning projects
- Monitor project timelines and deliverables to ensure compliance with urban planning standards and regulations
- Ensure all projects align with local Riyadh municipal regulations and Saudi Arabian building standards
Stakeholder Management & Optimization
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architects, planners, and project managers to optimize facility utilization
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience with CAFM software platforms such as AutoCAD FM, Archibus, IBM TRIRIGA, or similar systems
- Strong background in urban planning projects and facility management principles
- Experience working within PMO environments and project management methodologies
- Familiarity with Saudi Arabian building codes, regulations, and municipal planning requirements
- Experience in system implementation, testing, and user training
- Understanding of construction and infrastructure development processes
- Experience with project scheduling and resource management tools
Skills & Competencies
- Proficiency in GIS systems and spatial data analysis tools
- Proficiency in database management and data visualization tools
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data modeling and system optimization
- Knowledge of technical documentation standards and reporting procedures
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and manage complex technical projects
- Knowledge of sustainable facility management practices and smart city technologies
- Excellent communication skills for technical documentation and stakeholder presentations
