The Business Development Specialist will identify and acquire new business opportunities, develop strategic relationships with potential clients, and drive sales growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for the food and beverage industry.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Market Research
- Identify and research potential new clients in the food and beverage industry.
- Develop and implement strategies to acquire new business and expand market share.
- Stay current on industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to inform sales strategies.
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within target organizations.
- Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations to showcase offerings and capabilities.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms of sale to close deals and achieve revenue targets.
Internal Collaboration & Reporting
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and implementation of new clients.
- Track and report on sales performance and market trends to management.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business.
- Minimum 2 years of sales or account management experience.
- Proven track record of success in sales acquisition, preferably in the food and beverage industry.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of sales techniques, negotiation strategies, and business development principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence decision-makers.
