Business Architect - On Site - KSA - Octopus by RTG

Role Overview

Business Architect position at Robusta, on site in Saudi Arabia (KSA), working on the Octopus by RTG platform. The role defines and maintains business architecture across banking environments, ensuring alignment between business strategy, capabilities, processes, operating models, and enterprise architecture.

Role Purpose

To support transformation initiatives by defining current and target states, identifying architecture gaps, and translating business objectives into clear architectural requirements. The Business Architect will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, enterprise architects, and technology teams to ensure solutions deliver required business capabilities while aligning with governance and applicable SAMA requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Business Architecture Development

• Develop and maintain Business Architecture models, standards, and documentation.
• Define business capabilities and maintain business capability maps.
• Develop current-state (baseline) and target-state Business Architecture.
• Map key business processes, value streams, and operating models.

Analysis and Gap Assessment

• Conduct gap and impact analysis between current and target states.
• Identify business, process, capability, and technology dependencies and impacts.
• Assess the business impact of proposed technology and transformation initiatives.

Strategy and Requirements Translation

• Translate business strategy and objectives into business capabilities and architectural requirements.
• Support transformation initiatives and business capability roadmaps.

Alignment and Governance

• Ensure business requirements are aligned with Enterprise Architecture.
• Ensure alignment with applicable banking, regulatory, and SAMA requirements.
• Maintain Business Architecture principles, standards, and governance documentation.
• Participate in architecture governance, reviews, and approval processes.

Collaboration

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, enterprise architects, and technology teams.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• More than 10 years of experience.
• 5 or more years of experience in Business Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, Business Analysis, or related roles.
• Experience in banking or financial services is preferred.
• Experience working in a SAMA-regulated environment is an advantage.
• Strong experience in business capability mapping and Business Architecture modeling.
• Experience defining current-state, target-state, and gap analysis.
• Good understanding of Enterprise Architecture, business processes, and operating models.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Additional Information

• TOGAF, BIZBOK, CBAP, or similar certification is preferred.
