Role Overview

Role Purpose
To assist in the successful execution, maintenance, and rehabilitation of bridge structures by supervising site activities, monitoring construction quality, coordinating with project teams, and ensuring all works comply with project specifications, safety standards, and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Construction & Maintenance
- Assist in the construction, maintenance, and rehabilitation of bridge structures.
- Support quality control and inspection activities related to bridge works.
- Provide technical support to the project team during construction and maintenance operations.
Site Monitoring & Compliance
- Monitor daily site activities and ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
- Ensure compliance with project safety and environmental requirements.
- Review construction drawings and identify potential technical issues.
Coordination & Stakeholder Management
- Coordinate with site supervisors, subcontractors, consultants, and project stakeholders.
- Participate in site inspections and client/consultant meetings as required.
Planning & Reporting
- Prepare site reports, inspection requests, progress updates, and technical documentation.
- Assist in planning and scheduling project activities to meet project deadlines.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in bridge construction and/or bridge maintenance projects in the UAE.
- Good understanding of bridge structures, construction methods, and maintenance practices.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Preferred Experience
- Experience working on road and bridge projects for UAE government authorities or major infrastructure contractors.
- Familiarity with quality control procedures and site inspection processes.
- Knowledge of UAE construction standards, safety regulations, and best practices.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and engineering documentation.
Additional Information
- UAE Driving License mandatory.
- Own vehicle available for project-related travel mandatory.
- Willingness to work in Al Ain and travel to project sites as required.
