Boiler Technician

Role Overview

Burjline Builders is seeking a Boiler Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial steam boilers and associated systems.

Role Purpose

Maintain optimal performance and safety of industrial steam boilers and related equipment through preventive and corrective maintenance, emergency response, and systematic inspection of all operational components.

Key Responsibilities

Maintenance & Repair

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on boilers, burners, pumps, valves, and piping.
• Maintain feedwater, condensate, blowdown, and steam-distribution systems.
• Perform repairs independently.

Troubleshooting & Diagnostics

• Troubleshoot boiler and burner faults.
• Support boiler operators during equipment problems.
• Respond to emergency breakdowns.

Inspection & Safety

• Inspect safety devices, gauges, strainers, and mechanical components.

Operations Support

• Assist with boiler start-up and shutdown.
• Maintain service records.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or technical qualification in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Maintenance.
• Minimum 5 years of industrial boiler-maintenance experience.
• Strong knowledge of steam boilers, burners, pumps, valves, and safety devices.
• Experience with water-treatment and steam-distribution systems.
