Role Overview
Biomedical Engineer (BMET) based in Qatar with Iqarus, with travel to support medical teams across various sites.

Role Purpose
Provide biomedical engineering support and maintenance expertise for medical equipment and infrastructure deployed across multiple sites in Qatar and regionally, ensuring optimal functionality and reliability of hospital-based medical systems in complex and demanding operating environments.
Key Responsibilities
Equipment Maintenance & Support
- Maintain and repair multi-modality hospital-based equipment across various deployment sites.
- Apply OEM training on various hospital equipment to ensure compliance and optimal performance.
- Provide technical support to medical teams operating equipment in the field.
Site Support & Travel
- Travel to support medical teams across various sites as required.
- Adapt to fast-changing tempo and working environments across multiple locations.
Qualifications & Experience
- Certified as a biomedical engineer from an accredited school.
- Diploma or associate degree in biomedical engineering or biomedical technology.
- 3+ years' experience as a BMET.
- EMS and hospital-based work experience.
- Experience with multi-modality hospital-based equipment.
- OEM training on various hospital equipment.
- Current Practice license or medical registration with medical council of your country.

- Ability to react quickly to changing requirements and meet deadlines.
- Ability to travel with must-have in-date passport with no restrictions on international travel.
Additional Information
- A police clearance certificate may be required prior to travel.
