Role Overview

The Bedaya Program 2025-2026 is a pre-graduate initiative offered by First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) designed to engage Emirati university students during their education and prepare them for full-time careers in banking.

Program Overview

The Bedaya Program spans 1 to 2 years with flexible scheduling, offering 2 months of intensive training during each university break. Participants receive comprehensive core banking and functional training across multiple areas. The program provides a chance for placements at FAB's international offices across 20+ markets, including Switzerland, UK, Gulf, Singapore, and the U.S. Successful completion creates a fast-track pathway to the Ethraa & MTP Graduate Programs and full-time roles.

Learning Journey

Induction

• Complete 1-day onboarding and orientation

Foundation

• Undertake 4 weeks of banking fundamentals and governance modules

Exploration

• Engage in 4 weeks of on-the-job training and mentorship

Transition

• Attend 1 week of career workshops and professional development

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in structured training during university breaks
• Engage in cross-functional projects and on-the-job learning
• Complete curated e-learning and mentorship sessions
• Prepare for transition to full-time career through workshops and assessments

Qualifications & Experience

• UAE National with a Family Book
• Currently enrolled as 3rd or 4th year university student
• Minimum GPA of 3.0
• Major in one of the following disciplines: Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Industrial Engineering, Economics, International Relations, Political Science, Corporate Law, or Financial Technology
